Seminars
The
Society conducts seminars and workshops from time to time
for its member publications. The Society also makes sure that
the database of all the members is complied and put together
in the form of INS handbook, which is regularly updated and
maintained.

Modernization
To keep pace with technology the Society has developed a new
software for making its core functions fully automated which
makes information dissemination easier to its members.

INS
Buildings
Apart
from the secretariat of the Society, the two buildings of
INS located on Rafi Marg, houses about 90 offices of member
publications. As the owner of the buildings, the Society provide
and maintains the services such as car parking, telephone
exchange, fire protection, security, canteen facilities, cleanliness,
painting and white washing. INS also provides canteen and
guesthouse facilities to its members. In addition to all this
the Society also has a library and a media center. The media
center was set up keeping in mind the member publications
who do not have access to such facilities in house. The Media
Center offers facilities of STD, PCO, Internet, Photostat
and computer terminal with printer
